Biography

Leonnette Headley was admitted to practice in St. Lucia in 2022 and is an Associate attorney in the firm’s Property and Corporate Department. Her practice areas include intellectual property, licences, regulation and compliance, employment and labour law, estate planning and trusts, preparation and review of commercial contracts, and the incorporation and maintenance of local and offshore companies.

Prior to joining us in 2022, she worked as a judicial research assistant at the Headquarters of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court. During her tenure, she conducted extensive research on complex legal issues, drafted legal opinions, orders and judgments in civil, constitutional and commercial matters from the Eastern Caribbean.

Leonnette holds a Bachelor of Laws degree with Honours from the University of the West Indies where she served as a member of the Rotaract Club and engaged in various hall and campus activities.  She is also a graduate of the Norman Manley Law School, where she was on the Principal’s Honour Roll and received the Douglas Fletcher Memorial Prize and the award for Most Outstanding Year 1 Student.
